Me and Lauren are preparing for our first hitch hiking trip! We are going to be hitching from Dallas, Texas to Austin. Austin is about three hours away from here, so it's not too long of a ride. We are texting a close friend the liscence plate numbers and makes of the car. I think we are going to be hitting the free way in about an hour or less, and I will post as soon as we get in to Austin. Send good vibes!

Hey, Cody. Your dad told me all about the situation on the phone tonight, and I spent some time trying to get in touch with some friends from college and high school in Austin to hook you up and help you out. Thus far I haven't heard back from anybody, but Austin on a Saturday night? Didn't expect to quite yet.
Anyway, I'll keep trying.

Yeah man, we got here safe, and it's so far it's been an absolutely amazing place haha. The whole like shutting down 6th street, jesus christ haha I wish i was 21 so bad. I have a really good friend from SLC that we are staying with so yeah we are totally fine and taken care of, but thank you I really appreciate the concern. There will definately be more posts up on the website about my experiences here in Austin, I think we will be here for about a week!
